When John Ley returned home from his stint as a paratrooper in the U.S. Army during World War II, he first took up farming and carpentry, then later entered the monument business as a salesman. But it was a knack and appreciation for fine craftsmanship that drove John, with encouragement and support from his wife Margaret, to his true calling. Together, the couple embarked upon the business venture that would become a legacy of stone artistry and dedication to their community—John Ley Monument Sales was born.
Continuing that legacy today are John and Margaret's son Tony, his wife Regina, and their dedicated team of talented stone artisans. John Ley Monument Sales proudly serves Avilla and surrounding communities with quality craftsmanship and personalized service.
